Weekly Wrap-up for the week of 5/27

Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up! A new segment we’re introducing as part of MacThemes 2.0, the Weekly Wrap-up will show off the staff’s favorite new themes, icons, walls, and screenshots each and every week. For people who don’t have enough time to weed through the forums every day, or for those who might have missed that great new icon release you keep seeing in screenshots, this is for you. As a general guideline, we’ll be showcasing one new theme (new or modification), one icon or iconset, two walls, and one screenshot in each wrap-up, though that could change if a week presents us with too many outstanding creations to single out just one or two.

Widget:
Image Upload

Last week was pretty lacking in terms of new themes, so I decided to highlight an excellent new widget. Ice Spectre’s new creation makes the process of uploading an image, normally frustrating, if not tediously so, easy as drag and drop, with a beautiful interface to match. Definitely worth a look for all of you screenshot aficionados.

Walls: 9 Walls from Khalua

Khalua, creator of the wonderful Week Project, stuns us again with a plethora of releases that are just too cool for their own threads.

Microsoft Surface

As much as we hate to admit it, Microsoft’s Surface looks pretty hot, and iDash exemplifies that with one awesomely purple wall.

duyvan’s screenie really shows how a great wall can make a sexy theme even sexier. Nighttime never looked so hot!

Well, that wraps up our third Weekly Wrap-up! If you have any comments, you know where they go (in the comments).
