Weekly Wrap-up for the week of 6/11
Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up! A new segment we’re introducing as part of MacThemes 2.0, the Weekly Wrap-up will show off the staff’s favorite new themes, icons, walls, and screenshots each and every week. For people who don’t have enough time to weed through the forums every day, or for those who might have missed that great new icon release you keep seeing in screenshots, this is for you. As a general guideline, we’ll be showcasing one new theme (new or modification), one icon or iconset, two walls, and one screenshot in each wrap-up, though that could change if a week presents us with too many outstanding creations to single out just one or two.
Widget:
Calculator Mod

The Calculator Widget is an oft-opened widget in many a dashboard, great for students, accountants, and everyone in between. However, in spite of it’s usefulness, it looks more like a Fisher Price My First Calculator than something adults would use. This week, Jonas Rask changed all that, with a sexy black makeover to finally make the widget stylish.
Wallpapers
eOla and Breaking the Core

For the second week in a row, Khalua has released some stellar wallpapers certainly worthy of the spotlight again.

MacThemes Senior Member, mpukacz released his rendition of the Apple screen from the Leopard preview videos and made a very nice, minimalistic, wallpaper that should be a sure fire download.
Icon:
Bomb-Omb

This weeks spotlight goes to Nuclear Potato’s “Bomb-Omb” a very well done icon from the retro gaming era. Now if only he’d release a Mario to go with it…
Screenshot:
Aqua SE Onyx
This week, there were a lot of spectacular screenshots, so it was very hard to pick just one clear “winner.” But I had to go with Zoot’s Aqua SE Onyx screenshot. This mod looks amazing and hopefully it gets released some time in the near future.
