MacThemes Accepting Applications for Writers
It’s been a few months since our relaunch of MacThemes, and a week since our Theme for a Week contest has come to a close, and although these big events are over, we’re by no means toning down the work at MT. Our goal here has always been to give our readers the best coverage of the Mac theming universe, and that is why we’re once again accepting applications for writers. An application should include either: one review of a recently released theme or iconset, or two examples of past writing, preferably Mac-related. All applications will be considered, so all of you out there with literary aspirations, don’t hesitate to send an email with your applications, or leave a question in the comments.

If you’re looking for writers, you might want to write “so all of you out there with literary aspirations . . . ” I doubt you’ll hire me at this point.

So it appears that MT is looking for people to do the work that they clearly are not doing and seem to not want to. Honestly, if there are not going to be any regular updates of substance to this site, you should consider closing or selling the site to someone who will do a better job with it.

I’m not going to respond to each and every one of your points but I will tell you this - respect in this community is earned, and you guys are lazy as hell. So tell ya what, I’ll buy the domain from you and take over right now. I’ll guarantee at least one relevant post per day. I think you’ll feel much better when you don’t have to “keep up” with posts or worry about getting things on the front page quickly - I’ll take this monkey off your back. See, someone who is enthusiastic about this content would never say those types of things so let someone who is run this site. Ok?
Now, do you take credit cards, Paypal, what?

Interesting that post #4 (the long diatribe from a MT staff member) was deleted. For all those reading the new post #4 - it was my response to one of the whiny MT staff members. Chickens.
