Weekly Wrap-up For The Week Of 10/14
Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up! This is a segment that shows off the staff’s favorite new themes, icons, walls, and screenshots each and every week. For people who don’t have enough time to weed through the forums every day, or for those who might have missed that great new icon release you keep seeing in screenshots, this is for you. As a general guideline, we’ll be showcasing one new theme (new or modification), one icon or iconset, two walls, and one screenshot in each wrap-up, though that could change if a week presents us with too many outstanding creations to single out just one or two.
Icon

NES Retro by Kevin Andersson
NES Retro is a faithful representation of the good ol’ fashioned NES controller from Nintendo circa ‘85. It’s a perfect replacement icon for an emulator. Also, Kevin has uploaded a 512 version of the icon, so it’s Leopard ready.
Icon Set

.\Trash by Lord Kokkei
Lord Kokkei’s first venture into icons shows great potential. Though .\Trash is lacking when it comes to drives and discs, it has all of the basics, and includes a template for those who think the set is missing something. I look forward to more icons from Lord Kokkei.
Wallpaper

No Resolution by thrasher
Thrasher is another newcomer, and No Resolution is his first release. I love how the wall is really quite busy, but I can still read the names of files on my desktop, which can be a problem sometimes. Thrasher is another new user I look forward to seeing more from.
Screenshot

10/18/07 by J.Will
Will says it best himself: ” I can almost taste the candy corn.” I can see I’m not the only one excited for the end of the month. Pretty funny Pikachu pumpkin too.
Theme

A Posteriori by Gloss
Last but not least, a new theme from old standby Gloss. A Posteriori is definitely a Gloss theme, white with colored buttons, and of course it’s very simple. The progress bar is really cool in this theme. Check out A Posteriori for a simple, open, classic Gloss-style theme.

Nice one. Thanks for the plug
I am still expecting to see some variations of the NES controller. The PSD file is still floating on the internetz, so let me see your creativity.
