Weekly Wrap-Up For The Week Of 1/21
Welcome to the Weekly Wrap-up! This is a segment that shows off the staff’s favorite new themes, icons, walls, and screenshots each and every week. For people who don’t have enough time to weed through the forums every day, or for those who might have missed that great new icon release you keep seeing in screenshots, this is for you.
Icons
Homer Stamps by ita_dmin and Memzee
D’OH! Everyone loves The Simpsons. Express your love with these Mail icons featuring everyone’s favorite yellow TV dad, Homer Simpson!
Icons
CS3 Letterforms by Stratification

I’m not the only one who was disappointed by Adobe’s icons for CS3. These icons are a much nicer looking alternatives to white text on colored rectangles.
Icon
World, 1561 by adambz

What with the recent discovery of the “New World”, this icon will certainly come in handy for navigation purposes. What? It’s been close to 500 years since the discovery of America and I’m in it?
Docks
Aele Dock and Aele 3D Dock by esXXI

Not one but two new docks from senior member esXXI. The standard one works with light icons and the 3D one with dark. The “cutout” indicator is an interesting concept.
Wall
Conquer the Aurora by Johnny Dangerously

Wow. Colorful night sky. Makes you think about life on other planets. Is someone looking at us from far away thinking the same?
Screenshot
PINK TUSCADERO by TURN

Wow, second week with a themed screenshot featured! (It’s ruler.) TURN’s pink and blue theme has a very interesting color dynamic going for it. Which is nice.

Hmm.. I don’t think I’ll ever publish a PSD again seeing as nobody ever credits.. =/

Sorry for the discredit, Memzee. I’ve added you to the post and we’ll do our best to prevent that in the future.
