When new members join MacThemes, we peruse the forums a bit closer to watch the ones who like to submit their own stuff. We’ve decided to show off two neat releases today.

Ever wanted a CoverSutra case that, well, didn’t look like a case? Newcomer halfthelaw has taken the route of simplicity with his “Simple Shadow” cover design, available for the customizable iTunes controller, and frankly, it’s quite nice-looking. Halfthelaw’s download (and first post) can be found in the forums.

This next pick is another one of those pleasant, light-feeling contributions. NightSonic’s “Wind” is blissful: use of purples, blues, and pinks that would fit well in Apple’s own “Abstract” collection, and well-suited for the transparent menubar.
