Crazy Taxi, Ready to Rumble, Seaman, and Soul Calibur are just some of the titles that sprung to mind when I came across DonkeyBeatz’ impeccable recreations of the Dreamcast memory units. Ah, the Dreamcast: if ever there was a victim of bad timing, it’s this console. With both Sony’s and Microsoft’s consoles looming over the horizon, the Dreamcast just didn’t manage to gain enough momentum to overcome the PS2 and the Xbox. But if nothing else, I hope that somewhere there’s an engineer who once worked at Sega feeling a little tingle of joy knowing that his memory unit design lives on as one more fantastic releases from the MacThemes forum members. that doesn’t matter… they was just painless to copy, still with a ps2 or a XBOX you can run copies too… you just have to do some more tricks that’s all.
i think mainly bad timing, ended the short life of this console… i still remember being all fanatic for sega stuff… That pratically ended Sega dreams, in regaining gaming console markets again.
