Description: A smooth professional theme inspired by Leopard & Aperture.
Graphical Intent: Pro takes the small radii corners of Leopard's windows and the reverse-gloss of its Apple menu icon, and it mixes it with the smooth metal and graphite colors of Aperture. Elements throughout the theme are simply grey plastic, while elements of importance (menu, selected items, progress) are highlighted in dark graphite.
General Comments: Graphite window widgets for those who appreciate more contrast. The mockup showcases my Borderless iChat mod 2.0.

Description: A dark theme that takes some design cues from Vista's Aero and melds them with OS X's Aqua.
Graphical Intent: Aeroesque's transparency is subtle, not blatant like Vista's, and is actually accomplishable in the areas shown in this mockup; moreover, it has subtle hints of Aqua throughout to make it feel right at home on your Mac.
General Comments: Cursor indicates a mouse hover. Graphite menubar glyphs available without "button." The mockup showcases my Borderless iChat mod 2.0.

Description: Eikos is a pressed metal theme based loosely on the inner stylings of the S500i mobile phone.
Graphical Intent: The theme was designed to be clean cut with just enough texture to draw the eye, the edges are intentionally sharp and the buttons flat, creating an extremely usable theme that pushes away from the multiple shades of grey theme creation has been pushed into.
General Comments: This theme would ideally be accompanied by the much delayed eikos icons in a metallic finish to reflect the buttons and window textures.

Description: Soft Theme called Mook, which means Pearl in Thai.
Graphical Intent: I chose to create something like this because of the soft reflections seen in a pearl. The idea was to create a theme that was feminine yes stylish and techy at the same time. The theme itself is pretty light and neutral but it also has some elegant aspects.

Description: White plastic (go figure!) with green LEDs.
Graphical Intent: For literally years I've always wanted a theme that emulates the white plastic used in Apple's consumer computers. So, here's my try at it. This theme takes particular design inspiration from the current white MacBooks.
General Comments: While I have never put together a full-fledged theme, I have tinkered in ThemePark enough to know what's possible (plus I had a little help from forum members). I've taken great care to make sure that every element of this theme is absolutely feasible in ThemePark, and that despite being a theme based on the color white, it had enough contrast to be usable on a daily basis.

Description: iTunes grey blue splashed over a dark metal theme with dashes of shadowed white that just scream usability.
Graphical Intent: When I started out this theme I had intended for it to have a physical look with buttons that looked like buttons and things that looked like you could grab them. That quickly developed into what I feel is a worthy successor to the Mac OS 9 theme: Platinum
General Comments: This theme was made with usability in mind as a first and looks as a second. Regardless, I still feel the theme looks fantastic and doesn't sacrifice usability.

Description: Black, highly polished glassy elements reminiscent of onyx or sapphire, with bright white-blue (think xenon lighting) LED's underneath. Intermixed with polished white-bluish plastic to preserve readability and compatibility. Brushed windows are also made of dark glass, with grey-blue wells and text fields (where possible), and faint blue stripes "behind" the glass. Window control widgets should glow brighter on mouseover, with the close button possibly glowing reddish (instead of bluish) to make it more discernible. Also, it should change to reddish-white in unsaved changes state.
Graphical Intent: To provide a sleek, dark feel to the GUI, while preserving the compatibility and readability where possible. Also, to make a high contrast, gadgety, playful and attractive theme that's still easy and nice on the eyes (unlike most other "over-the-top" blinkenlicht themes).
General Comments: Based in part on a previous theme called Onyx2 that i've never finished. Most glow effect layers are blurred with gaussian blur, 1.0px radius. Most speculars have an additional layer set to Color mixing mode to add some blue tint.

Description: Meant to remind users that they are always in the matrix, this theme combines elements of the movie with sleek design that doesn't get in the way of the work that needs to be done.

Description: Plum is based loosely on an imaginary "Purple" iPod Shuffle. Most of the elements have a flat, almost metal surface with orange and purple highlights representing the casing and buttons of an iPod Shuffle.
Graphical Intent: Purple is a beautiful and vibrant color, however it isn't always the most useable especially in themes. I was able to reach a middle ground between usability and eye candy where the large portion of elements being gray/dark gray and purple accents. I emphasized user experience rather than an intense purple trauma. Also if this does get made into a theme I promise more colors to come ;-)

Description: Silent Alarm is a smooth, professional theme that can work with any wallpaper.
Graphical Intent: To have a theme that could work with any wallpaper. I wanted this theme to look very professional, and I have reduced the superfluous eye candy of Aqua while still creating a stylish theme. The color scheme should be easy on the eyes and shouldn't distract from one's work. I used square edges on the windows so that the wallpaper wouldn't peek through, creating an unnecessarily complex look.
General Comments: I tried to make a universally appealing theme with focus on readability and a smooth, understated style. This is my first mock-up, and I hope you enjoy it!

Description: Blue is a loved color of most Mac/Apple users. With that notion, this theme brings in the aqua style, but at the same time remains different. With this theme people have to think outside the box, and realize the amount of of the color variations it can bring. Enjoy.

Description: A simple theme that takes the user back in time to the Apple II's "green screen" while maintaining the OSX feel.
Graphical Intent: The look and feel can be described in one word, simple. This theme does without many of the unecessary clutter of other themes and provides the user with a very basic visual layout.

Description: I like a clean theme and therefor quite liked the supplied template to work with. The problem I had with it was the fact is was too bright, too much white. So I changed the windows to a nice shade of black and removed some of the clutter.
Graphical Intent: The 3+1 buttons at the top of every window are hidden on inactive window to remove clutter. Since themes are most used by power users anyway we know the buttons are there anyway and don't have to be confronted with it continuously. As soon as you move your mouse over the buttons they will light up.
General Comments: I'm not sure of the top menu bar. I didn't get it to look right. Perhaps the default Aqua bar is fine.
