the prevasive soft bevels are too sexy, the “floating” highlight in the menubar selector, widgets and tiny details make this a wonder to look at.

I like this theme. I like the softness of it. Very creative.

I’ve got to ask.. What’s up with all the bluriness in this theme?

I absolutely love the menu bar. Unfortunately, I can’t say much about the rest of the theme without pushing myself to be too harsh. There are some clever ideas here (I like the scroll bar in particular), but the whole design just appears too unrefined (there’s also a blurriness issue, as Phillip mentioned). The monochromatic color scheme also comes off as boring rather than usable or “minimalist” as one might term it, but hey, two hours, as you said.

the blurriness just seems to be spillover from the drop shadow. this mockup was built in illustrator so its pretty hard to imagine the edges being blurry.

This one I like very much … it’s plain (a good thing) and simple (another good thing) and as Josue sed, “I like the softness of it.”

Actually, if you don’t get your artwork aligned with the pixel grid properly, it’s very easy to imagine the edges being blurry…
